Grade conversion formulas and examples
A grade conversion keeps the same ratio relative to the maximum while moving to a different scale. There are two key formulas:
- Scale → scale: converted GPA = your GPA ÷ your max × target max
- GPA → percentage: percentage = GPA ÷ max × 100
- Percentage → GPA: GPA = percentage ÷ 100 × target max
